Pentti Järvelin is a skateboarder, a comic book artist, a Youtuber and a lot of other things. After living in Helsinki for 11 years he moved to Oulu. I visited him after he had lived there a few months to film him skating.

The artist M (or Ämmä amongst friends) is adventurous enough to go along with my crazy ideas. Minja Koski originally asked if I wanted to be the cinematographer for the music video for Jos tulen takaisin. But as the shooting deadline approached and we didn’t have a clear plan I started to propose ideas that eventually took over. Basically I hijacked the song.

The Goodiepal Equation is a documentary that follows Goodiepal, a Danish musician, performance artist, lecturer and activist operating on the fringes of society. The film had it’s world premiere at the Helsinki International Film Festival September 22nd 2017.
