The Goodiepal Equation is a documentary that follows Goodiepal, a Danish musician, performance artist, lecturer and activist operating on the fringes of society. The film had it’s world premiere at the Helsinki International Film Festival September 22nd 2017.
The Goodiepal Equation is the first feature documentary directed by Sami Sänpäkkilä and produced by Moderni Kanuuna. It follows the life of the hacker, renaissance man, futurist, hustler, philanthropist, Rudolph Steiner dropout, programmer and art collector Goodiepal.
Goodiepal or Gæoudjiparl van den Dobbelsteen, whose real name is Parl Kristian Bjørn Vester, is a controversial Danish/Faroese musician/composer. The eccentric and self-made Goodiepal has influenced the course of modern music through radical excursions into computer technology and media art.
