I made a visual music video playback system. It’s a simple video file that you put on your smart phone or tablet that makes playback a lot easier on shoots. I’ve used it on two shoots so far and it’s worked great for me.
The artist M (or Ämmä amongst friends) is adventurous enough to go along with my crazy ideas. Minja Koski originally asked if I wanted to be the cinematographer for the music video for Jos tulen takaisin. But as the shooting deadline approached and we didn’t have a clear plan I started to propose ideas that eventually took over. Basically I hijacked the song.
Music video for Pelle Romantika & Kuolema-Duo that combines the doom like drones of Kuolema-Duo and spoken word poetry of Pelle Romantika.
A music video for Eleanoora Rosenholm Oopium China song. Their fourth album Talvipalatsin puutarhassa was released in November 2018.
Death Hawks’ new song Atitlán from their fourth full length album is my third video for the band. Teemu Markkula and myself cooked up the idea on what the video should include in terms of looks and story.
This video is a homage to staying at home and reading a book, listening to music or watching a movie. It’s our third video together with Islaja.
Tehtaantyttö is the second music video I’ve done for the band M. I think this is the first music video that hasn’t been shot in a single day.
Music video for Maria ja marsialaiset.
Music video for the band M. Only practical lights, one take, handheld.
Finally after a year of no time to make music videos here’s one for Seremonia. We started planning for this months ago and bounced off different ideas with the band but none of them stuck or were too difficult to realize. Once I had the idea for this particular script and a clear vision of how I wanted to execute it, it was the quickest turnaround ever.
Death Hawks are releasing their third album “Sun Future Moon” shortly. First single is called Behind Thyme which we shot a video for during the moon eclipse on September 26th.
A music video for Seremonia from the album Kristalliarkki.
