The Goodiepal Equation is a documentary that follows Goodiepal, a Danish musician, performance artist, lecturer and activist operating on the fringes of society. The film had it’s world premiere at the Helsinki International Film Festival September 22nd 2017.
Samurai Rauni Reposaarelainen was filmed over a three year period. Our first day of shooting was on march 2013 and our final shoot was in April 2016. September 2016 we had our premiere of the movie at Helsinki International Film Festival – Love & Anarchy at a sold out Savoy theater to an audience of 700 people.
Samurai Rauni Reposaarelainen sai maailmanensi-iltansa kahdesti. Ensin Säpin majakkasaarella missä se näytettiin kirjoituskilpailun voittaneille yhdeksälle ihmiselle ja sen jälkeen Rakkautta & Anarkiaa festivaaleilla 700 ihmiselle. Esittelyssä elokuvan näyttelijät!
Samurai Rauni Reposaarelainen on Moderni Kanuuna RY:n ensimmäinen elokuva ja se on tehty kokonaan talkoovoimin. Yhdistyksen tarkoituksena on tuottaa omaehtoisia taide-elokuvia. Nyt onkin aika esitellä osa kuvausryhmää elokuvamme takana!
We’ve been shooting our first feature film Samurai Rauni Reposaarelainen since January 2013. This is the first post of a few I will make during the production of the film. I don’t want to say too much about the storyline before we’ve released the film. For now the posts will be more about the technical hurdles and I hope that we can encourage and help others in making their own independent feature film.
Apflickorna is directed by Lisa Aschan. She asked me already maybe two years ago if I was interested in making music for her film. I heard the concept and gladly accepted. I’m really happy to say that the film turned out quite amazing.
