The Burning Book photograph is a still frame from the video installation The Eternal Sleep of the Man made by Sami Sänpäkkilä in collaboration with Anna-Mari Nousiainen. 

The Cineframe is a hand-built wooden frame that is illuminated to make the photo come alive. It is designed by Sami Sänpäkkilä and made in Tampere, Finland.

The Cineframe consists of a photo, wooden frame and an LED light. The photograph is a chromogenic print exposed with lasers on a Kodak Professional Endura paper. It is developed using traditional photographic techniques and the life expectancy of the photograph is up to 100 years. 

The frame is made of PEFC certified Finnish pine wood with a UV-protected museum quality glass. The LED light that illuminates the photo is activated by a motion sensor located at the bottom of the frame. The light can be adjusted to turn off automatically after fifteen seconds to five minutes. The LED is powered by four AAA batteries (included if shipped to Finland).

The Cineframes are built to order. Delivery time is 3-4 weeks in Finland and 4-8 weeks for the rest of the world. All shipments are insured. Size of the frame is 44 x 33 x 5 cm and weight is 2,6 kg.

Each Cineframe is a limited edition of 25 copies.
