Goodiepal or Gæoudjiparl van den Dobbelsteen, whose real name is Parl Kristian Bjørn Vester, is a controversial Danish/Faroese musician/composer. The eccentric and self-made Goodiepal has influenced the course of modern music through radical excursions into computer technology and media art.

We had a very small crew for this video. Here's a good hint, if you're shooting in front of suburbian drug store with masked men, realistic looking guns and wads of cash you should definitely call the emergency services and let them know about it. They'll be very pleased and actually it is common practice.

Tuusanuuskat is a collaboration between Es and Tomutonttu. The name of the project Tuusanuuskat is a play on words derived from the phrase “tuusan nuuskana”, (tr. total shambles). It is a Finnish saying that is used when something has broken to a million pieces. Together, they have prepared an experimental cocktail that sounds like two drunken masters of music, conducting the protons and neutrons travelling from their instruments to their skulls and back, to create a musical nucleus.

Eleanoora Rosenholm are releasing a new album and we did the first music video for it. For this shoot I was mainly inspired by posters and DVD covers. There's things you just can't do when shooting horizontally. Sometimes I even prefer to shoot 3:4 aspect ratio because of this and I think it worked well for the shots where you see Eleanoora looking down or up, waving her hands high in a prayer and reaching for the sky. Also the upward shooting airplanes are a particular favourite of mine.

This is my fifth solo release as Es. Kesämaan lapset was recorded during a three year period. It is a mix of soundscapes and pop tunes. You can hear influences varying from contemporary indie to ancient classical music. It’s a summer album and a childhood photo album. The name translates as “The Children Of The Summerland”. It an homage to the Pekka Streng album “Kesämaa” (Summerland) which is one of my favourite Finnish albums ever made.
